Can someone please help me to let me know if these symptoms are what they call subclinical latent HPV infection. About 3 months ago, I had an encounter with
a partner who I later found out had genital warts. About 3 weeks after that I developed this insane itching, burning, pelvic throbbing pain, I had an unusually yellow green discharge that is still persistant after 2 rounds of Flagyl. I went to 2 ob/gyns and a primary care physician, I thought I had contracted herpes. I took 2 sets of tests to confirm I was negative for HIV, neg for herpes culture, neg for chly, gonn. The only thing I can think of is I contracted HPV but no signs of genital warts yet, I joined the H support group and they are wonderful, but for those who are more aware of the symptoms do you think I should request a HPV DNA test done? I am currently on acyclovir and awaiting a 3rd set of HSV culture and HSV2 Blood test to come back.
