I know that there are certain things that will indicate HPV through visual
screening....but visual screening is not a diagnosis it is a guess based on the
viewers experience.
I had a spot on the vulva that was diagnosed by my Gyn as a hematoma. My
dermatologist excised this spot and stated it was not malignant but did not do
HPV screening as I request. The biopsy was reviewed again and screened for
against the 13 HPV types. High risk was idenitified in the spot.

screening is not done. HPV can be present or occur at the same time as other

no no no you misunderstood......i'm glad if it turns out to be 'roids....that
means i wont be embarrassed the next time i have sex worrying about warts and
thinking that it will remind (whoever i chose) that i have HPV they appeared
while i was married i thought it was a skin tag then found out i had hpv.....so
i figured they was warts on my anus.....and i was loyal to my husband so i was
guessing he had cheated on me ....and gave me the warts....
but if their roids that means he never cheated on me and i got the HPV from my
own actions after we split thats why i was upset ...it was easier to blame him
then to accept responsibility for my own actions that was what was upsetting
