Yes, yes, I understand. Sorry, I was sitting here thinking, wow, what has this
woman been through to be so hard on herself about a skin tag! You know, one
thing I learned through my 1 year of having found out about having HPV, is that
there is NO use in beating up myself (getting more stressed than I have to be,
making my immune system slow down more from the stress). Here I was feeling
like the least bit of a woman, I felt like a complete whore because I slept
with 2 guys (both one night stands) after my son's father and I broke up. We
were together from 94-2000 (on and off after that til 2003). I went out and
got drunk because that was my way of dealing with the failed relationship that
we had. I then find out that by me doing so I may (key word is MAY) have
gotten HPV from one of them, then turned around and gave it to my son's
father. However I do remember that I had an abnormal pap sometime between 94
and 97. I aquired my results from my previous gyne. none of them stated they
were abnormal, however there wasn't my results from my pap when I found out I
was pregnant. So I may have had HPV for many years now and it just so happened
that it layed dormant for all those pap's I took since then. Basically, don't
beat yourself up about who and when. You will never know. I know it's hard
not to, but like I said, you're only going to stress yourself out and weaken
your immune system. it is so scarey having this! i cant imagine what i would say to a new lover. i was told i could have had this vires for years. i dont know if i should tell the other sexual partners that i have had or just let it go- because i dont know how long i have had it! how do you live?how do you deal with it? i dont know about all the others but i feel nasty, i just dont understand why me? i always protected myself and i am a very clean person, so what do you do? if your like me your going crazy!
