Genital Warts treatable with Aldara Cream |
|
Question from one of our site visitors: Hey so does anyone know if it's normal not to have any reactions or feel
anything after your third week using Aldara? I'm on the start of my fourth week
and I have never felt the cream tingle, burn or itch?!?! What the heck does
this mean, is it not going to work for me, anyone had the same effect and
cleared up in the end? you're getting along so well with the Aldara. I think it was week 4 before I
started having a reaction. I also was wondering for a few weeks if it was doing
anything. That's why my Dr told me that if I got too sore by the 5th week or
so, I could skip the last treatment of the week. I did - twice - again at the
end of the 7th week! my question is how did aldara take it away when they did a coloscope??? those are internal....did you apply aldara internally i was told to use aldara topically not internally are you sure about that? I know when I had my first coloscope /biopsy the cells showed no dysplasia then after I got pregnant my pap came back bad and they did another coloscopy to check the cells and my Doctor told me there was nothing there to be overly concerned about till I had the baby. the aldara to my understanding works on the cells/ warts on the outside ...but I know it fights the hpv virus is that what you meant? A colposcopy is an examination of any skin area (both internal AND external) which has been saturated in a vinegar solution. The abnormal cells react to the vinegar by turning white. My reaction was totally external, in the perianal area. That small external spot is where I applied the Aldara, but my reactions (mainly on my labia) were areas that the Aldara never touched. Genital warts all along the vaginal area. Fda approved Genital Warts Cream Aldara can be applied on such warts. |
